What to expect from your evaluation
Maybe you've spent years being told your struggles were something else. Maybe you're the first person in your family to name any of this out loud. If you're here about an evaluation — for ADHD, autism, or both — this page tells you exactly what it involves, so nothing about the process is a mystery.
Before every evaluation, we send you paperwork and questionnaires to complete at home. Filling these out ahead of time is what lets us spend your appointment on you — a thorough clinical interview — instead of on forms. The three options below differ in depth, not in care.
Diagnostic Clinical Evaluation + Letter — $900 (Tier 1)
one appointment, about 2.5 hours.
We review everything you completed ahead of time and go through a detailed clinical interview together. At the end of that same appointment, you leave with your diagnosis and your signed letter — in hand, that day. Right for people who mainly need the diagnosis confirmed and documented for accommodations, a prescriber, or their own clarity.

Short Evaluation + Diagnostic Letter & Report — $1,500 (Tier 2)
one appointment, about 2.5 hours — same structure as Tier 1.
You leave that day with your diagnosis and letter, and you also receive a written report (about 10–12 pages) within 24–48 hours. Right when a workplace, school, or provider has asked for more than a letter, or when you want the fuller story in writing.

Comprehensive Neuropsychological Evaluation — $2,500 (Tier 3)
The most complete picture, delivered across three separate appointments — about 3.5–4 hours of face-to-face time total:
1. Intake — about 1 hour.
2. Testing session — about 2.5 hours (after your materials are sent to you).
3. Feedback session — about 45 minutes, within roughly two weeks, where we walk through the findings together.
You receive a detailed report of about 30–40 pages. Right when the question is complex, when an earlier evaluation missed something, or when you want no stone left unturned.

Not sure which one fits? That's exactly what the consultation is for. We'll help you choose — you don't have to figure it out alone.
A few things people ask
-
A formal diagnosis and letter are what most workplaces, schools, and prescribers ask for. We make sure your documentation is written to do that work.
-
You're not alone, and it's part of why this practice exists. Black women in particular are too often overlooked, misdiagnosed, or told their struggles were something else. A thorough, culturally grounded evaluation is designed to see the full picture.
