When a court needs psychological input, it needs findings that hold up — grounded in standardized instruments, documented methodology, and conclusions that stay inside what the data supports. That is what I provide.
Types of Evaluations
Parental fitness / parental capacity evaluations
An assessment of one parent's psychological functioning and capacity to meet a child's needs. Appropriate when the referral question concerns a specific individual rather than a comparative analysis of both parents.
Child protection matters
Evaluations supporting case planning, reunification, and permanency decisions where an agency or the court needs an independent psychological assessment.
General forensic psychological evaluations
Where the referral question is diagnostic or functional — whether a mental health condition, cognitive profile, or trauma history bears on the legal question before the court.
Adult ADHD and autism evaluations in a legal context
Where a diagnosis is contested, was never formally established, or bears on capacity, credibility, or accommodation.
What You Receive
A written report addressing your referral question directly, including methodology, instruments administered, records reviewed, findings, and conclusions stated with appropriate confidence limits.
Reports are prepared in accordance with the APA Specialty Guidelines for Forensic Psychology.
1. Referral question. Send me the specific question the court needs answered. The referral question frames the scope, and a well-framed question produces a more useful report.
2. Scope and fee agreement. I'll confirm what the evaluation will involve, the timeline, and the fee structure in writing before any work begins.
3. Records and scheduling. You provide relevant pleadings and records. I schedule directly with the party being evaluated.
4. Report. Delivered to the referring party on the agreed timeline.

I am licensed in Delaware, New York, and Georgia, and PSYPACT authorized across 42 states. Evaluations are conducted virtually.
