I’m a proud Philadelphian whose been in the mental health field for over 15 years. I built Deeply Rooted because Black women deserve evaluations that take their full experience seriously — not just their symptoms. Every day, I’m fueled by a deep sense of purpose to help those I serve unlock their inner potential, discover their authentic selves, and find healing - without all the trial and error of finding someone who understands you.
But it doesn't stop there. I actively invest my time and energy into training and mentoring early career psychologists. Together, we’re working towards building a network of caring professionals who can uplift and empower individuals facing the challenges of today's world.

Most evaluations are private pay, which gives you full control and privacy. BCBS/Anthem is accepted in-network in limited cases — we'll sort out which applies to you at your consult.

All three give you a diagnosis — they differ in depth and documentation:
Tier 1 — Diagnostic Clinical Evaluation + Letter ($900): best if you just need a diagnosis and a letter for your treatment team.
Tier 2 — Evaluation + Diagnostic Letter & Report ($1,500): adds a written report, useful for accommodations at work or school.
Tier 3 — Comprehensive Neuropsychological Evaluation ($2,500): the most thorough — includes cognitive/IQ testing, full ADHD and autism screening, and a detailed report covering the whole picture. This is also the tier for formal disability qualification, since those determinations require this level of specificity.

You'll receive questionnaires to complete ahead of time — usually 30–45 minutes' worth. We go through them together during our meeting, so there's no need to get them "perfect." Just answer honestly, based on your experience.

Tier 1 and Tier 2 are a single session of about 2 hours. Tier 3's virtual testing session runs about 2.5 hours. In every case you'll have completed some materials beforehand, so our time together is focused.

Yes. I can send your therapist an observer questionnaire to capture how you function in real life, or they can send me their notes directly and I'll integrate them. It's especially helpful because they know you well and may have noticed patterns you haven't.

I evaluate for both autism and ADHD in the same assessment. If ADHD traits emerge, we'll talk about whether looking further would be useful. It's not required unless you want it.

You'll get your diagnosis and your letter at the end of our session — for both Tier 1 and Tier 2, you leave with your diagnostic letter in hand, not weeks later. The Tier 2 report follows within 1–2 business days, and the Tier 3 comprehensive report within 7–14 days after your virtual session.
